My Ideal Classroom
This week we were asked to watch a Ted Talk by Will Richardson about the changing face of education.
My ideal learning sitution would be sitting in table groups of 4-5. This is ideal because as teachers we are not always able to be everyone answering all the questions at one time. so putting students in groups they are able to work together and use each others ideas to problem solve. This has always helped me while being a student by just having other kids to talk to and work problems out while seeing their different ways of working out problems wich is normally easier then they way I do. Students benefit alot if this trype of learning.
I think classes should be around 40-45 minutes students will have time to work on that days assignments while also being able to ask questions. Even if the teacher has to teach a new topic they will have a full class period to go over that topic and even have the students do practice problems to make sure they understand this topic.

What would you do?
Scenario 2: Relationships
If it were me and one of my intern friends were to ask me to sign them out because they got an erly dissmisl and had to leave, but however I did not see them on the bus. I would still do it because maybe they brought their car to their filed sight and talked to our BCTAL teacher Mrs. Stevens about it. There is no reson for me to question them, I would just do what they need me to do!

If You Give a Mouse A Cookie
If You Give A Mouse A Cookie is a childrens book written by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond. This is a story about a boy and a mouse.
The mouse wants a cookie and when the boy gives him a cookie, it leads to a long lists of other things the mouse will want to have.
I think that this book is apporiate for Kindergarden through first grade.
A few key words from this book are
* Pen
*book
* mop
* box
* book
* tape
Questions -
If you could change the mouse to any other animal, what animal would you choose? and why?
If you were the mouse would you ask for the same thing or something else? why?
Lesson Plan--
Material:
1- 2 cardboard circles
2- brad to connect the circles
Preparation:
1- Divide bottom circles into sections like a pizza
2- Cut a piece out of the top circle, shaped like a wedge of pizza pie
3- Place the top circle onto the bottom circle and connect with a brad.
Activity:
The children create their stories, sequencing the activities of the mouse, drawing or wirting the next part of the sequence, until its back at the begining, Then they can retell their story to a friend and show them the wheel.

My First Offical Blog!!
This week my assignment was to read a article called "Does Spelling Count?"
This blog is about a teacher who gives their students a assignment, the student were to write a book about the properties of clouds. The teacher was confused when as soon as he gave the assignment many students asked if spelling would count?
The teacher strongly believes that spelling should count in all classes not just English Class. If the students do not spell correctly how is anyone going to know what they are trying to say-- they are also going to need these skills when they grow up.
So yes the Author strongly believes spelling SHOULD defiantly count!
Thank you for reading!
